So I'm moving to Shanghai for a year, teaching 4th grade at an American school.. Should be a good year! No jobs were/are opening up in TN and I randomly happened upon this one, applied and was offered a position in less than a week's time! So I decided just to do it.. Looking forward to finally teaching in my own classroom and 4th grade should be a lot of fun. Facebook's blocked so I'll be using email and this blog (trying anyway:) to keep in touch.
I've been sitting in the Newark airport for the last 5 hours and still another 6 to go before my 14 hour flight to Shanghai. I'm gonna need a good run when this is all over..

What experiences you have had the privileged for! I think of you over there and it makes me remember what we heard at Gsp. meeting last night; When Jesus was in the wilderness, the only thing to trust in was God. Good to remember who to trust in.
